Krista
Krista Mann is a recent transplant to North Pole, Alaska where she likes to explore, write, cook, and bake. She particularly loves anything outdoors: hiking, backpacking, kayaking, and most recently, dog sledding. She holds an MFA from Northern Michigan University in creative writing and currently works as a freelance writer/editor. Her short stories have appeared in various literary magazines and one of her pieces was nominated for the 2012 Pushcart Prize. She is also a feature writer for Food Loves Beer magazine. Flight Seeing

Despite my lifelong unsettling relationship with flying, I am the one that e-mails the Groupon to my husband, 50% off a flight seeing trip to the south face of Denali (Mt. McKinley), and later convince him, with no resistance, to add a glacier landing to our trip.
