I know it’s called Blueberry Swirl, but this Odwalla bar tastes green. It’s the color of vitality, which is probably what you’ll gain from eating this super food. With 50% of the vitamin E you should eat daily, a significant amount of vitamins A and C, plus iron and calcium, this has more nutritional value than your ordinary breakfast muffin. I ate mine for dinner but would probably enjoy it with my morning coffee too.
The 200-calorie bar boasts 29% organic ingredients and no trans-fat or cholesterol. It’s made largely of oats and fruit and is refreshingly moist, probably because of the sweet-tooth-satisfying brown rice syrup and cane juice syrup added to stick the ingredients together.
Although Odwalla primarily produces juice, I’ve never had one of their juices. But, at one time, I loyally consumed their Strawberry Pomegranate bars. Perhaps this new Blueberry Swirl flavor is a good excuse to return to old habits and again become a faithful Odwalla bar eater. Besides, rumor has it the new chocolate protein bar is tasty too.
