Warm sugar cookies, whipped cream-topped pumpkin pie, hot buttered rum… the tastes of winter are distinctive and delicious, aren’t they? That’s one reason we’re excited about the change of seasons. This week we saw our favorite seasonal Cliff Bar favorites–spiced pumpkin pie and iced gingerbread–on store shelves. It’s a welcome reminder that powder days are just around the corner.
When I checked in with Cliff to find out if the bars were available all over the country (yes, they are!) they dropped a hint at the real reason to stock up: They’re donating one percent from the sales of their seasonal flavors to the Winter Wildlands Alliance which aims to preserve winter wildlands and promote human-powered winter snowsports. Sounds wonderful… and deliscious.
