Traveling, teaching, exploring, and racing seem to leave me little time for myself lately. Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining–I live the stuff of my adventurer dreams. It’s hard sometimes to have a tangible grasp of all the places that I have been and things I’ve done. One of the things that I do manage to hold onto is the importance of yoga in my life. Ideally, I’d make time for 90 minutes of practice a day, but in these recent months, it seems that those 90 minutes are rarely available.
Instead, I compromise. 10 minutes of practice is better than nothing.
So in this blog – my first for Women’s Adventure – I offer this short and powerful sequence to my fellow time-tested women who are exploring the world in their own way. I mean: you. Practice it a few times, put it into your pocket, and take it with you. Use it when you need extra energy, use it to warm up, or use it as a way to reconnect with your breathing and the space around you.
