Yes, they let me wear them to work.
For those of us who can’t possibly spend enough time in their jammies, Acorn has come up with a collection of crossover footwear called Comfort-To-Go that feel cozy on the inside but look and function like a shoe on the outside. I got to try out their Bree Bootie Slippers, not as an official WAM gear tester, but as a regular citizen (one the benefits of “liking” Facebook business pages and commenting on posts!).
Acorn’s Bree Booties have a tweedy wool/suede upper that’s just plain cute and a rubber/jute sole to keep the wet out. While the modest insole support isn’t enough for an all-day hike, they’re perfect for around town activities. If you’re lucky in your employment, you might even get away with wearing them at work! The Bree Booties are $80 through the Acorn website.
