Triathlete Mirinda Carfrae uses music to train, and says the beats help her push herself through swimming, riding, and running sessions that would leave most of us wincing. After a second-place finish in last year’s Ironman World Championships, she’s gunning for first this fall, and a few of these songs – her top for training – might make it into the warm-up mix she uses before hitting the water in Kona October 9th. “If all goes according to plan, I should be ready to rock when I step up to the start line,” she says. “I can’t wait.”
