Thank you for telling Dana's story. She suffered for years because she was improperly diagnosed and/or ignored. As her mother, I watched her in pain, and I felt helpless because I did not know who could help. We were so fortunate to find the right doctor, one so in tune and so empathetic. Hopefully, this story will reach others in serious circumstances and encourage them, like Dana, never to give up hope.

My daughter has caps and it took 21 years to diagnosis her. She had a stroke at 5 months and then it was never ending saga of symptoms, doctors. tests etc. We finally went to the Cleveland clinic for a consult and as a very off hand suggestion had a test for the gene for Nomid. We even went to NIH and were told she did not have Nomid. Caps has since been diagnosed. She has an unamed variant of it. Ilaris has been wonderful. Crp normal first time ever. Weaning off steriods. Keep mpraying for help to all who suffer. And I agree listen to your body.
