I can’t help it. Every time I see beautiful photos or incredible videos like this one of Olympic National Park, I get the chills. I’m so glad that some of our leaders had the foresight to protect these places, these natural wonders, and to preserve them from development. This year we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act that helped to keep some of these places wild, that helped ensure that even today with our overpopulated, overly digital world, we still have some place to unplug and to bask in the raw beauty of this Earth.
This video, made by two brothers who backpacked for a month in Olympic National Park and shot some breathtaking footage, is the first in what they hope will be a series of videos celebrating all of the National Parks.
